Translation: Preacher, only tell me things that make me feel good about myself.

Translation: I've never actually studied or even opened the Bible to find out for myself.

"There's not just one way to salvation."
Translation: I believe whatever's newest and coolest.

"It's up to each person to decide what's right for them."
Translation: I'm trapped in sin, and can't make myself stop.
