- Are you stupid?
What's the big deal about mocking or ridiculing someone else? Are we really in danger of hell for being sarcastic or condescending?
Yes, that's right. God loved us so much that He offered and sacrificed His Son so that any one who believed in Him would be saved. Christ died for every one of us ... which doesn't leave any room to treat any one else, N-O O-N-E, with spite, ridicule .... or as an "inferior."
Because we're ALL inferior to Christ.
And if God Himself placed that kind of worth and value on sinners like thee and me, who are we to sacrifice our witness ... and pretend we're superior to Christ ... by acting superior, insulting- or antagonistic- toward any other person?
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin.
But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
