Finally found it: inside the coffee can.
See, last week I got tired of re-watching The Search for The Coffee Spoon and started storing the coffee spoon inside the coffee can because I thought that would be a good place to keep from losing it.
And then yesterday my Mr. Coffee made 3 cups of steaming water for breakfast ... because I forgot to add coffee before adding water.
True, so true.
