Some confusion exists about a previous post.
I've chosen not to post comments I received which suggest God is OK with homosexuality and that God will accept you for who you are so long as you accept Him. That interpretation is misleading and is contrary to Scripture.
God loves you ... but He hates your sin. Sin is what separates us from God. The only way our sins can be forgiven is through Jesus Christ. Christ told the woman accused of adultery, "Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." John 8:11 KJV
Christ never said, "Your sins are forgiven, so go and sin some more."
If we love God and live for Him, then how can we embrace behavior ... any behavior ... that separates us from Him.
