A 26-year-old Anderson motorcyclist said he rode away from an enraged motorist who confronted him with a sword, according to officials.

Joshua Alan Webber told an Anderson County sheriff’s deputy that it was about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on S.C. 28 Bypass when a Ford Explorer almost hit the rear of the motorcycle Mr. Webber was driving.

The Ford’s driver then pulled alongside Mr. Webber and began to verbally abuse him, according to the police report.

No one was injured, and no arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon, according to official reports.

According to other details in the police report, both drivers pulled into the parking lot of a Wachovia Bank.

Mr. Webber told deputies that he walked to the Ford, asked the driver “what his problem was,” and found himself confronted with a sword.

The Ford’s driver told Mr. Webber that he had “been on acid for a week and that he would kill him,” according to the report.

No one was injured, and no arrests have been made.
